Anton (Tony) Beckerath

Tony has experience in aircraft operations, international freight and terminal operations and other aviation fields, including high capacity aircraft operations. This includes the sourcing and distribution of aircraft parts and performing avionics maintenance under certificate of approvals.
He has been a consultant and advisor to State and Federal Governments in relation to international freight and has been instrumental in developing international air freight services from Australia to the Pacific Rim region.
Tony established Australia’s first privately operated international freight terminal under the umbrella of Qantas Airways Ltd and was the General Manager, Sales and Service in Tasmania. He has developed innovative international standard export infrastructure facilities providing one stop services from customs to cold storage and distribution, enabling the development of exports into the lucrative Asian markets
Tony holds an appointment of Justice of the Peace/Honorary Justice. He is also a qualified pilot with single and multi-engine ratings and has been involved in pilot training initiatives.
Tony also has connections and alliances with Governments, Statutory Authorities, International Airlines, freight forwarders, and their associated land, sea and air networks worldwide
