Australian Customs Service have a purpose-built integrated examination facility that
houses a large x-ray system and a range of other technologies to enable the rapid
inspection and physical examination of selected sea cargo at Botany, NSW.
Australian Customs Service is extending the existing facility by the addition of an office /
warehouse of 1,800m² providing for the handling and storage of detained goods, office
accommodation, technology & workshops and vault & armory storage.
Global Pacific was engaged as the Project Manager to provide services for the
development of a design brief, concept plans, development & planning approvals,
engagement of design consultants, tender & award of a building contract, contract
management & administration and staff and goods relocation.
